Happy Birthday to my Dad!

Sunday was my dad's birthday. This is the card I made for him. I used a Papertrey Happy die to create a little shaker, using gold silver and copper sequins, over some striped DP. The "birthday" is a Simon Says Stamp sentiment.

I was late getting it into the mail, so he may see it here before he sees it in real life! Actually, I don't think my dad reads my blog. But my mom will see it for sure!

  1. My first reaction when I saw this card was "Yay, THE perfect guy card to CASE". Then I read the post and yes, it's a card for THE perfect guy...your dad! Great colors, cool shaker and a wee hint of retro.

  15. Love that you managed to make a cool shaker card for a guy. For some reason I always think of shakers as girly but you totally proved me wrong!
