Merry Christmas
Here's a card I made for fun while on our BABES trip to Prior Lake. I CASEd Kim (not sure if she's posted it), who I think was CASing someone else. Kim then CASE'd this card. And so on, and so on...
I used the trees from the PTI Tinsel and Tags Market Kit and half of a sentiment from PTI's Side by Side Sentiments.
All the inks (except the black) belonged to the other ladies on the trip - it was so much fun to be able to try out different things. I came back with a list of items I just have to have, including this pink ink (Ranger Adirondack - do they make that anymore?)

I love this card Ardyth ..... the bright colours make a refreshing change from the traditional reds and greens.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you all had a ball on your crafty trip ...... bet you can't wait to do it all again! Linda xx

ReplyDeleteNot sure about the Ranger Inks. Love the sweet little snow at the bottom of the trees Ardyth.

ReplyDeleteOh Ardyth this is a beautiful card! I love the bright colors on this one. I love traditional colors as well but lets face it, it is nice to change things up a bit from time to time! I love that all you ladies were able to get together, it sounds like a fabulous trip with lots of great memories made. I hope you ladies get the chance to continue this get together and can make it an annual thing. I think you guys had way to much fun!!! lol Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteBrilliant card, my friend. I love as much now (if not more), than I did when I first saw it at the "Lake House." Beautifully CAS with those bright pops of colors really appeals to me. Just a delightful card. Bev
ReplyDelete...how in the heck did I miss this pink ink? I love the shade AND I LOVE this card! The bits of black in the sentiment, tree trunks and base REALLY enhance the vibrancy of the inked trees!
ReplyDeleteLovely!!!! Wonderful colors!!! So envious of your getaway!! Would be so awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous then, gorgeous now, Ardyth ... love those vibrant colours and the scattering of glistening snow! Think I need to add that sentiment set to my need list! Anita :)

ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous grouping of rainbow trees. So festive.
ReplyDeletewhat a fantastic card, wonderful!
ReplyDeleteDoesn;t matter who started with it; it is a beautiful and fun card!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card...what I really love is how you used the sentiment, love that Merry Christmas. I finally posted my card today. I really love that your's is square, really makes your trees stand out. And I do have to agree with Bev, just as beautiful on your blog as it was in person.
ReplyDeleteI love how you made this work with four trees, and not the magical odd number of elements. You are just that good, that breaking design rules results in a BETTER card! The glittery snow is a nice bonus : )
ReplyDeleteI really love Xmas cards that aren't in the tradtional colours. Those tree's are so soft and pretty, love that stamp. Definitely 'pinning' this one!
ReplyDeleteWarning - Adirondack is so addicting. Sometimes finicky to stamp with clear stamps but the colors are oh-so-rewarding.
