FFC35 - Merry Christmas!

Click to link up to Darnell's birthday party by July 16.

Time for our next Festive Friday Challenge! Here's our inspiration:

I focused on the plaid (I loved plaid even before I married a Scot 17 years ago tomorrow!) and picked up the glittery silver from the tag on the red present. I used a Gina K sentiment and curved my white panel to pick up the curve of the plate. (Is that a plate?!) The plaid is old Basic Grey DP.

Now it's your turn - link up before the deadline on Wednesday, July 16. I can't wait to see how you're inspired!

  1. What a fabulous card. The contrast of the white and plaid is so eye-catching, and the curved line of the white perfectly sets off the straight lines in the plaid. Congrats 1 day early for your 17 year anniversary. I hope you can celebrate somewhere fun.

  8. Stunning! It just screams Scotland (actually it reminds me of the Scottish wedding in Four Weddings And A Funeral - not sure which tartan it was, but it still reminds me :)
