Muse #54 - Spring Tulips

Spring is sorely needed and much anticipated in this part of the world, so I was thrilled to see so much green on this week's Muse by Therese:

I used an old favourite - a Magenta tulip stamp simply coloured with copics and then coated with a thin layer of Stickles (I dot it on and then spread it around with my finger so that it's not too thick.)

The deadline for this week's Muse Challenge is Monday at 8:00 am. You can then vote (even if you didn't link up a card) until Tuesday at 8:00 am and the winners will be announced on Tuesday at noon.

  1. Just lovely, Ardyth ... the thin layer of stickles really brings out the colour in the tulips! Anita :)

  2. Love the green...looks like the first color green from the bulb-flowers (I see it a lot in the garden already). And those tulips are great with a little stickles... Have a creative weekend, Gerrina

Spreading the stickles around with your finger is so clever AND so effective! Love all the 'green white space' :)

  12. Such a pretty spring-time case if the inspiration, Ardyth! I love tulips, however, I don't think in northern IL where I live, they will blooming anytime soon. We will sure appreciate them more when this long, sub-zero temps winter is over. :)
