Muse 41 - Peace Times Two

Janet is our Guest Muse at Muse this week. I'm absolutely thrilled that her beautifully CAS card has inspired so many people in so many different ways, please go check out all the entries. If not today, do it on Monday, when you can vote for your top 3!

Here's Janet's card:

I focused on the peace theme, the tree and the blue and white colour scheme. I used a little peace symbol from Deadbeat Designs, and an unknown clear sentiment. There are stickles in the white portions of the peace symbol, for a little sparkle.

Actually, that was the second card I made this challenge. Below is the first one I made.

Again, I focused on the colours and peace, but added a curve, a popped up panel and some more sparkle. I stamped the old A Muse snowflake on a panel and coloured it in with copics before covering it with double-sided tape and some glitter. I used a circle punch to cut a notch for the snowflake to peek through and  my new Papertrey sentiment.

I hope you'll join us (come on, you know you've got Christmas cards to make! lol!) before the deadline on Monday at 8 am EST, but if you can't, please participate by voting!

  5. These are both just fabulous. Love all the glitter. So cool how each peace sign is colored just a little bit differently on the first card.

  7. I love both of these cards but thought surely you'd use the wreath stamp from PTI and color it blue. I guess that's more my (copy) style and not your creative one since you used it recently.

  18. Cool idea with your graphic peace sign tree. But I really love the glitter on the snowflakes! I tried spraying a die cut with spray adhesive this week and covering it with glitter. It worked really well.
