Muse #33 - Thanks!

For this week's Muse Challenge, where this week's Muse is Design Team Member, Laurie Willison:

I focused on the chevron Laurie created, the slanted sentiment and the colours. My son tells me these are sergeant stripes, so I guess I also picked up the nautical motif as a military element!

I used Stampin' Up!'s new Chevron border punch to create the chevrons in navy and coral, and popped them up to add some dimension and create a 'channel' for the sentiment.

I hope you'll have time to join us and play along this week! The deadline is Monday at 8:00 am EDT, but even if you can't play along, you can participate by voting for your 3 favourite entries from Monday at 8 until Tuesday at 8. Hope to see you there!

  4. ACK! I love this!! SO graphic. I've seen the SU punch, and just found MFT has a chevron die similar to this. It's on my "must have" list. Perfect font/size sentiment, and love that it's the same color as the blue chevron.

I saw Bev's comment above, are you visiting her as well on your Chicago trip? That's so awesome!!
