For this week's One Layer Wednesday challenge (hosted by Susan) - to make a spring card, and Muse challenge #15, where we have the lovely and talented Jen Mitchell as our Guest Muse this week! I hope you'll get a chance to play along with both these challenges this week!
Here's Jen's Muse card:
It took me quite a lot of time (and cardstock!) trying to capture the essence of Jen's card in one layer but I think I finally got there. I used the flower centre from Mixed Bunch, a Stamps of Life sentiment, and Papertrey's Faux Ribbon. A dab or two of Stickles for the obligatory birthday sparkle and done!
OMG, you really have captured the essence of Jen's card, Ardyth, this is just gorgeous ... love the scale, love the colours, love the sparkle ... perfect! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect card! Love the colors, and that font on your sentiment is the bomb! Totally love this. Another stunning creation, Ardyth! Bev
ReplyDeleteLovely card Ardyth, you your style!
ReplyDeleteYour card so bright and sunny!
ReplyDeleteOkay, how do you do that? Take an inspiration image and make it truly your style? I'm in awe.
ReplyDeleteArdyth, you've done it again. I see your card and just sigh. Nailed the Muse Card while giving a real feeling of spring.
ReplyDeleteWonderful interpretation of both challenges!
ReplyDeleteGreat one layer card. You have managed to capture all the elements of the muse, but you have made it your own.
