CFC101 - Thank You!

This is for this week's CASual Friday challenge to Stamp on DP. You know I don't use patterned paper very often  and the thought of stamping on it and making it very busy didn't initially appeal to me. But then I found this photo on Pinterest:

I thought it would make for an interesting card - almost an optical illusion. I found this old Stampin' Up striped DP from the Neutrals pack and went to town. I stamped the Stampin' Up sentiment and embossed it in clear and added a little pink gem for colour and sparkle.

  1. Fabulous....you managed to turn DP into a classic Ardyth card! I really, REALLY, REALLY love this! The neutral color of the clean & graphic lines are perfect supporting cast for the pretty wee pop of color and the sentiment!

#1 on my "Favorite Ardyth Cards" list!

  7. Striking. This is striking. Love these stripes and how you've turned the center focal point. One little pink bling smack dab in the center--brilliant for that splash of color. I love this. You so rock. Bev

  8. Hahaha, as soon as I saw you in the gallery (it's not time for my weekly blog visit yet!) I thought ... what the heck, Ardyth is using, much less stamping on, patterned paper?! So curious what the results were going to be. And as usual, you did not disappoint. So very true to your style, and so different for this challenge. Just love it! Thanks so much for joining CAS-ual Fridays this week!

  9. This is a great design. At first I thought it was a background stamp until I read further.
