CFC93, LIM110 - Happy Birthday!



For this week's CASual Friday challenge - Colour Blocks and Less Is More - One Layer Spots and Stripes.

My husband looked at this and said "Why is it upside down?" He thinks the spots make it look like candles. lol!  I used Papertrey stamps (Birthday Basics, Faux Ribbon and Background Basics: Superstripes).

My son has left on his March Break trip with the Air Cadets so it's just me and Kate hanging out this week - visiting friends, shopping, watching movies - we can't wait!

ETA (March 15) - Woohoo! This one's a favourite!


ETA (March 22) - This one WON at LIM! (see, Michael (hubby), you have to be an 'artist' to get it!)

    Fabulous CAS card. I love the colour blocks.

    Love this , Ardyth!! LOVE the design and the bold colors!! As I kept looking at it...I thought the same thing that I then read about what your husband thought...I thought...they could easily be candles, too:)!! Great card!!

    Now this is cool! Fresh, funky and fun! Looks like a piece that should be hanging in an art museum :)

    Fabulous card. I didn't think it looked upside down, but I guess it could be flipped. Men see things so differently than we do.
