Muse 5 - Thanks so much!

This week's Muse is Marion and her cheerful card here:

What a fantastic colour combination! You can't look at this card and not smile. Go on, try! See?

I decided to focus on the colours and the horizontal stripes. The sentiment is from Trendy Trees and I used the old Word Window punch. I added a bit of texture by running the coloured stripes through my Cuttlebug with my Grosgrain texture plate.

  3. I thought you used actual ribbon on your card and wondered how you had punched through it, until I read you had used a Cuttlebug embossing folder. :) I love the colours you used on this card! Thanks for the inspiration.

  8. This really captures Marion's card perfectly. When I look at both yours and hers, I see the colors of summer. And I think you'll have to post who makes the grosgrain texture plate. It's so cool. Really great card! Bev

  32. A total "Ardyth" take on the patterned inspiration card! It really sings. I love the window you used for your sentiment ... reminds me of the card I posted today but I promise I didn't see yours until just now!! You have such a great feel for things. I tried imagining the sentiment in the same place, but with any of the other three colors, and the yellow definitely works the best!
