Karen is hosting this week's One Layer Wednesday challenge and boy, is it a challenge! Use doodling on your one layer card. And here's this week's Less Is More sketch:
I am not a free-hand type of girl. I like order, symmetry, PERFECTION - none of which is easy to achieve when you're armed with a pen rather than a stamp! I handwrote (I hope that counts!) the Happys and the Birthdays, and stamped the little presents.
love the card! :)
ReplyDeleteIf my handwriting looked like that... I would not stop writing!
ReplyDeleteWow!! IN LOVE!
This card is too much fun! You really can see the doodling effect, and the colors just pop!
ReplyDeleteVery impressive indeed Ardyth.
ReplyDeleteHand written...wowzers! Your handwriting is amazing!
ReplyDeleteSuper card, Ardyth and LOVING your handwritten greetings - VERY neat 11/10!!

Adorable. I'd be too afraid to hand-write a sentiment on my card, but this look fantastic. I wouldn't have guessed you did that because it looks perfect!
ReplyDeleteOh wow- I would not have guessed that you handwrote the sentiment. Great card. :)
ReplyDeleteArdyth, your cards are always so bright and cheerful! Love the little brightly colored presents...is one of them for ME? LOL!
ReplyDeleteperfect! love the little presents :)
ReplyDeleteOMG! Your handwriitng looks like a stamp.
ReplyDeleteI was going to enter a OLW, however I just got flustered... I will let all this wonderful inspiration perculate for awhile!
Have a wonderful day!
There I was wondering where the doodling was on your card (I looked and looked!) and only found out when I read on! Wow ... order, symetry, perfection ... amazing! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteOne would have to look awfully close, and in person, to see that your words are not stamped. Love what you did for the challelnges.
ReplyDeleteAnother super card. Great design and lovely cheery colours. Your writing looks like it is stamped. Love the card
ReplyDeleteIt's great! I think your handwriting is super - mine would not be that even and tidy!!
ReplyDeleteThat's your handwriting?? It's awesome! And the presents are perfect as they have a "doodle" feel to them. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm with you Ardyth! Doodling is not my thing. I like neat and perfect. And speaking of perfect, your writting is so perfect I thought it was a stamp! You rocked Karen's challenge.
ReplyDeleteWait? You mean you didn't draw the little packages? I'm surprised that you thought that was 'good enough,' Ardy. Tsk. Tsk.
ReplyDelete(I wonder if others read my comments and don't get my teasing sarcastic compliments?? EEK!)
Honestly, it looks pretty dang perfect to me. If I wrote that well, I wouldn't be buying any more sediment stamps!!
As everyone has mentioned, your handwriting looks like a stamp it is so perfect!! All three of your cards today are jaw-droppers Ardyth. Don't every quit blogging, OK?
