I'm so excited - today's finally the day! The first CASology challenge!
The first CASology cue card is SUN! Make a card inspired by the sun (whatever that means to you) and link it up on the CASology blog.
Here are the creations of the other design team members to get you inspired!
We can't wait to see what you come up with! Remember, this week's challenge submissions are due at noon (CST) on Sunday, July 15 and the winner and honourable mentions will be named (and posted in the Winner's Gallery on the CASology blog) on Monday, July 16.
For this card, I used a long triangle nestability, cut to the right length by using a cirle nestability. This curve on the bottom of each sun-ray creates the visual inner circle around the sentiment. I used various distress inks to sponge the rays and the background. The sentiment (except for 'sun shine') is from Our Craft Lounge, stamped in Versafine Onyx and embossed in clear. Sun Shine is stamped using my Kaleidecolor Desert inkpad. Everything edged in Diamond Stickles for shine!
