Today's first card is for this week's One Layer Wednesday challenge, being hosted by Heather.
The Mini Masterpiece challenge is that your image can only be 2 inches by 2 inches. I've used an old Stampendous flower stamped four times and coloured with copics and stickles.
The next card uses an old Hero Arts stamp, which is the requirement for this week's Dust 'em Off challenge at A Blog Named Hero. The flowers are from a very old retired set called "Asterisks".
And both qualify for this week's sweet Tuesday Trigger:
I wish I had ink in these 4 exact colours - they are the perfect mix of brights and pastels. I keep trying, but have never found that pinky-red or the green or that creamsicle orange. Stampin' Up - are you listening???
Hi Ardyth, these two cards are beautiful! I love your flowers, the colors and the simplicity. I always think less is more!
ReplyDeleteHus,
Aida
I will ask Santa for a few of your brain cells! I love how consistent your style is, always so clean. W
ReplyDeletehile the rest of us are wondering how we would get anything at all into just two inches, you have 4 "masterpieces" in the 2 inches.
That green you want MIGHT be Colorbox lime pastel chalk ink. Those colors are ones I would love to find in cardstock as well as ink.
Bahb
Both gorgeous cards Ardyth - LOVE the first one especially!!!
ReplyDeleteI think if I had those exact colour inks I'd be too tempted to eat them LOL!
I love your little square of flowers, so small, but so bright and punchy.

ReplyDeleteLove these cards. I'm thinking the closest I could come to the cookie colors would be my stack of Brilliance Pearlescent stamp pads - have you tried any of those? I admit to having longings for brighter more colorful stamp inks than I usually find...
