National Ice Cream Day Blog Hop

Good morning! It's National Ice Cream day, and some of the Ellen Hutson Design Ambassadors and Catherine Pooler Creative Team members are hopping to celebrate! Details are below.

I used Catherine's I Scream You Scream set along with the Essentials by Ellen Little Lady and Little Gentleman sets to make a cute card that was intended to be a one-item shaker card - the truck was going to move back and forth in the window. And it does, a little bit. But I made a strategic error so it's less interactive than I had intended. Be sure to watch the video so you can learn from my mistake! lol!

BLOG HOP DETAILS:

We've got fun prizes!!! We are giving away $25 to the EH shop and $25 to the Catherine Pooler shop! To enter for a chance to win, make sure to leave comments at each stop along the hop! Two random & lucky commenters will win! Comment before Sunday, July 28th at 11:59pm PST. Winners will be notified by email.

  12. What a great release combo! I'm already head over heels for the Leading People sets, and although I'm not normally a fan of food cards--this ice cream set is the exception to that preference. I mean what goes better with kids than ice cream?!? Great job Ardyth--TFS.

  21. Wow, super cute card even though it didn't quite work out how you intended. You are not alone. Most of my cards turn out different than I imagined. Perfection is overrated. I have yet to get a comment back from a card recipient- Gee, this card doesn't look like you intended...

  27. The card is cute and the recipient of card will be as happy getting this as a scoop of ice cream (or almost). Love the idea of the truck being the shaker and also appreciate you showing us your error so we can learn. Stay cool in this heat!
