Mixing Up CTS175 - Fabulous!

Still experimenting with my KGT (copying my friend Darnell by using that acronym for Kuretake Gansai Tambi) and distress ink watercolouring. This time using the current CAS(E) This Sketch challenge:

and Essentials by Ellen and Technique Tuesday products for the current Mix It Up Challenge at the Classroom.

I started with the blue wash. Once it was dry, I stamped my flowers and started watercolouring using lavender and pink to layer some colour onto the flowers. I used yellow and orange for the centres and added a touch of Stickles for sparkle. I inlaid the die before cutting the panel with an MFT Pierced Square die and finished by popping up two of the flowers.

I used:
-Technique Tuesday Fabulous die
-Essentials By Ellen Mondo Magnolia and matching dies
-KGT
-Distress Ink (for the wash)
-Stickles
-Tim Holtz Watercolor Paper
-MFT Stone Gray Card Stock

  11. So pretty! Not sure I even knew you had KGT! You have used them like a pro! And what a lovely way to use the small stamp and die from the otherwise seriously mondo hydrangea.
