Holiday Inspiration Group - 12 Days of Christmas - DAY 2/CASology 124 - Old

This week's CASology Cue Card is Old.

I decided to go with an old story from a really old book. Really, the best story around, I would say! I chose the supporting characters and used a simple layout and colour scheme and added interest with small details - gold embossing and pierced edges.

The larger angel is from Savvy, the smaller from a company called Inksentials. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up and the pierced rectangle is from MFT Stamps.

Be sure to check out the other CASology DT members for more inspiration:

This card is also for Day 2 of the 12 Days of Holiday Inspiration Blog Event brought to you by The Inspiration Crew".  We’re a group of online crafty blog friends who love being creative. This time we're doing a 12-day event to provide you with tons of Holiday Inspiration.

Here is a list of all the crafty ladies participating in this event. Be sure to visit all the blogs each day for loads of fun Holiday craft ideas.

Perfect example of CAS card as always. Love that you chose the same embossing color for the sentient and angels. By the way, does old book mean bible to you? I'm just curious. May

Flawless embossed images once again! Love the navy, white & gold color combo paired with your sweet CAS design!

Yep, in my opinion, the pierced border is definitely winning out over the stitched border.
