Muse 93 - Merry Christmas

Here's my card for this week's Muse challenge, where Therese has provided us with this inspiration:

I focused on the shape of the tree, but reversed the colour scheme and used different techniques. I cut a nestability triangle out of gumball green (love the embossed edge!) and popped it up on a white card. I then used some enamel dots that we made by melting Perler beads (it really works!) as decorations. The sentiment is from Savvy.

  9. So cool, Ardyth ... that gorgeous green is so striking! I was playing with the idea of negative space for Muse too ... your creative thought patterns must've spanned the ocean ... that or a smidge stayed absorbed from the Lake House!! Anita :)

  14. I love this card and I love your style. I always look forward to your blog postings. Can you tell me how YOU made the enamel dots? I have watched several videos and they are all different. Different temps, different beads, different amt. of time in oven, etc. I want to do it but prefer to get it right the first time! Thanks

  18. Love how you reversed everything on this card. Makes a very cool tree. Your home made enamel dots are fantastic. I should try this, as we probably still have oodles of those things around.
