RIC#45 - Thank You!

This card is for the current Runway Inspired Challenge:

When I saw this inspiration yesterday, I just knew I had to play along. And a few of you also realized that I would have to play along and very kindly alerted me to this amazing, graphic inspiration photo, just in case I missed it! Wow, you guys know me well!

This is the kind of inspiration that I feel like I could just keep going and going - the design is deceptively simple, but there's really a lot there and you could focus on different aspects each time.

All of the stamps (except the dot) are Papertrey - Square Prints, Live Love Life for the cut apart sentiment.

This is the second card I made - the first one was ok (see below), but it felt very busy and I wanted to capture the essence of this amazing dress, while still keeping the card very CAS.

This card used Papertrey's Faux Ribbon and an Eat Cake Graphics sentiment.

I am leaving early Friday morning to visit my sister for the weekend (and also really looking forward to meeting Kelly Griglione on Friday and Happy Dancin' Bev on Saturday), so I will probably miss a few posts over the next few days. (Festive Friday and a couple of others are scheduled to publish while I'm away).  I'll be back with lots of photos and stories next week!

These are both fantastic. I do like the second one better, but I would be happy to sign my name to the second--still amazing. Have a wonderful trip. Don't forget to take some pics.

Like the first card, but the second one is much more in your wonderfully CAS style. Love those little dots of color...not too much, not too little, just right. You've rocked this challenge gf. Woohoo! Bev

I sure will be thinking of you gals this weekend and wish with all my heart that things would have worked out for me to join you all! Oh well, will focus on the next one!!!

Both cards are fabulous! Honestly, I don't really see too much business on the first card - just more elements that are perfectly placed, without compromising a clean & simple design.

Your second card - yes, definitely simpler, but the stark simplicity of the graphic image paired with the black border and tons of gorgeous white space create a huge WOW factor!

oooh, dots instead of stripes! Yes! So very smart, Ardyth. Love your second version!!
