OLW158, RS82 - Thank you!

Here's another card for this week's OLW (Fly Away with Me, Hosted by Heather) and for a challenge I haven't played in a while - Retrosketches, which reminded me of my card from Friday.

I masked a thin line and sponged it  with various inks. Once I removed the mask, I stamped this Impress sentiment and a little clear butterfly.

Off to start getting dinner on the table. Our oven is (still) dead and I think that Michael may have finally accepted that it's time for a new one. In the meantime, our pizza will be cooked on a pizza stone in the bbq - I'm becoming quite good at getting the timing right!

Oooh, Ardyth, a slender rainbow with an equally slender sentiment ... just splendid, it's FABULOUS! Pizza ... yum ... bon appetit! Anita :)

Love this card, Ardyth! I thought I went CAS, but I think you may have taken it a step further, LOL! When you get your oven back, you'll probably still want to use the BBQ for pizza, now that you've perfected your technique! ;-)

Well I don't have the excuse of not having an oven...but we're having the same thing...pizza on a stone! Love your card...the colors are dramatic with the subtle sentiment.

Pizza on the BBQ: fabulous #1! Fabulous #2 - your card here with its eye-catching strip of colour and simple sentiment is powerful! Fabulous #3 - your warm comments on my teensy arrow CAS-olgy card! Day brightened immensely! Off to gaze at more of your lovely creations!!

A beautiful CAS card, Ardyth. Your rainbow strip is the perfect ground for your butterfly to fly over.

I love how powerful one thin line can be on a card! Gorgeous spectrum of colors Ardyth, and your sentiment and butterfly are the perfect touch!

This is great inking and stamping! A beautiful card! Good luck with surching for a new oven; the reading comes first most of the time... Inky greeetings, Gerrina

Brilliant! Love the way the colours are blended and the fab clean, crisp edges! You rock clean and simple!!

Now who would think to focus on the line in this sketch?! Silly question. It has to be Ardyth, the master of CAS.

Nothing tastes better than pizza done on the BBQ! Have you tried throwing in some wood chips? Creates a delicious wood smoked pizza!

Love the colors you used - they remind me of the chewy taffy sticks from years ago (you're too young to remember!). The sentiment looks awesome 'grounded' by the stamped line.
