LIM93 - One Layer Houses

For this week's Less is More challenge - One Layer card with the theme of Houses.

This is one of my go-to designs - I've made similar cards for various weddings over the years (although I'm pretty sure I've never made a one-layer version before).

I love this Verses sentiment, and it ties in so nicely with the Stampin' Up Dreams and Dragons castle image.

I wanted the colours to be soft and dreamy, so I stuck to the low numbers in my Copics and applied them sparingly.

Back when we first got married, moving into our new 'castle' certainly seemed like a wonderful part of the fairy tale. Now, I look at it and think "too much to clean! When can we move to a condo?". Ah, reality. It really cracks me up sometimes!

Loving the soft colours - gives it such a dreamy look! And I'm like you. I look at all these big, gorgeous houses on HGTV and stuff and all I can think is, "How long would it take to clean all that?"

Awww...!! Really "charming"! Lovely castle and great one-layer card. My DH says I'll have to drag him out of our house kicking and screaming! Dang, I am so ready for a condo!!! Bev

The soft copic colors are beautiful! I agree that subtle totally works on this wedding card. Anything more would overpower that beautiful sentiment!

This is the first time I have seen this SU stamp - it is really cute!

...been thinking how easy condo living would be...definitely gaining points in my book, especially if a cook was included!

Your castle card is brilliant - a winner, for sure!!

I missed my first CASology (orange) challenge (dammit), but hope to be back tomorrow with this week's and will do the hop then. Perfect cue word for this week.
